A very strange coin, The Future George IV was Prince Regent of the United Kingdom when The Wolfenbuttel line of succession fell to a child. I am unsure how he ended up taking the Regency for Brunswick Wolfenbuttel (maybe it was because he was married to a member of the Wolfenbuttel lineage?)
anyway, very strange title on this piece.
listing him as prince Regent, The further 2 issues were after his ascension and therefore is titled king.
