USA 1878 Goloid Metric Dollar

I am trying to work out whether the Goloid Metric Dollar that I have date 1878  (Pn 1644) is authentic.
It's composition is:

1 - G
16.1 - S
1.9 - C

and weighs 19.36 Grams

I would appreciate any comments.

I want to enter on Numista. Should be entered as a coin or token or?

Hi Roy,

The weight should be 14.25 on the genuine article.  The weight is shown on the coin right under the composition.

so if is real is it a coin or token ???
