Noticed that, through the CSIP. There are few more too, this will be discussed at next admin meeting.

Every once in a while a new person will be asking about it.
For these two I guess it's because it was added but the tooltip was forgotten. Not even sure.

Rather than being Guam, the top dot could also be the Northern Mariana Islands (or it could be for both places). I was (eventually) going to mention that dot in the CSIP thread when I got to the United States, but I was waiting for America to be split before doing it, and I was also waiting to see what happens with the oversea territories of New Zealand. Anyways, both Guam and Northern Mariana Islands are oversea territories of the United States, so that dot should probably only have the United States highlighted there—if it ends up not being removed, that is.
And I do not think Micronesia is a territory of any country, so that dot should probably just be removed.
Funny thing: technically if you inspect the code in your browser, Guam is not on the map but Northern Mariana Islands is

IIRC, Micronesia and the Northern Mariana Islands used to be classified as "countries" on Numista at the time when the map was developed, which meant they ended up having their own islands.
A later review found that all of their "coins" are actually fantasy issues, which meant they had to go away from the country list. However, since the map hadn't been fixed in a while, the islands still link to the now-nonexistent countries, which is why they're now permanently gray.
This actually is a major problem for completionists who try to fill the entire map - even if you fill up everything else, those two little dots still end up shining gray.
(I'm actually fairly close to that myself - missing, as far as I can tell, only Nauru, Palau, Marshall Islands, and Puerto Rico, the former three of which, I believe, only made NCLT; Greenland, Spitzbergen, and the Faroe Islands also used to be gray spots, but had since been covered by Denmark, Norway, and Denmark respectively.)

What!? Why is Greenland and Faroe Islands included in Denmark for? Both had their own currencies.
When you add a coin from Greenland, it greens it, and when you add a coin from Denmark, it greens it. Like if you add a coin from the Soviet Union, it greens all previous territories it ever owned, Finland, Estonia, etc.
Quote: "SRV5490"My map shows five islands in that same area as German New Guinea and I'm not including New Guinea and its many islands. I've refreshed and reloaded.
Oh yea, I completely forgot about German New Guinea! This all may be my fault then.
To quote myself from the CSIP thread:
"German New Guinea: right now, it only seems to be highlighted in Papua New Guinea's area; however, it should also be highlighted in the areas of Marshall Islands, Naru, Palua, and Solomon Islands. The areas of Micronesia and the Northern Mariana Islands should also be highlighted, but these two countries do not have coins, meaning I do not even know if an area for them exists. So, can two more dots be created on this map just for German New Guinea? I hope so, because..."
I forget if dots already existed when I posted that, or if they were created because of it. But from the sounds of that post, it was probably the later. So, to avoid any farther confusion, would it be possible to tag those two islands with German New Guinea when hovering over them? For example, I have no coins from Nauru, but when hovering my mouse over it, it still says Nauru.
But still, I cannot believe I forgot about that...
