This coin has 9.9 grams

My requests for change got rejected...

They are the larger variants of a coin with an identical design (those have the correct weight)
Concerning the Barbados coin you are completely right. I don't know why your change request is rejected, but there will be a new referee for Barbados very soon (within days) and than this mistake normally will be corrected.
The weight is obviously a mistake in Krause, who gives for this coin a weight of 6.32 gr. The coin is even heavier than your 9.6 grams. I've weighed 9 coins of this type:
9.82 gr.
9.86 gr.
9.86 gr.
9.88 gr.
9.89 gr.
9.92 gr.
10.02 gr.
10.04 gr.
10.10 gr.
It seems several of the Bahamas coins in Krause have a wrong weight. The 1 dollar KM# 14.2 (1988 - 2005) has in Krause a weight of 5.95 gr., on Numista 6.32 gr. I've weighed 15 coins, all between 6.31 gr. and 6.38 gr. with an average weight of 6.34 gr., so Numista is correct and Krause isn't.
For the KM# 14.2a (2007 - date) both Krause and Numista has a weight of 5.95 gr. . I've weighed 4 coins, all between 5.49 gr. and 5.54 gr. with an average weight of 5.52 gr., so Krause is wrong again and very probably Numista just took over the information in Krause.
