Croatian Currency [solved]

For my Croatian and European friends,
Are coins and currency frequently used in Croatia, or have they shifted to the electronic purchase system?
I have a friend headed over there next month and am trying to determine how easy it will be for him to pick me up some coins.

That won't be a problem I guess. My daughter visited Croatia just a few years ago and she got me a whole bag of coins. It can't be changed that much in such a short time.
