What are the rules if I want to sell Bitcoin, or anything that is non coin related (well, sort of). If I could, should I play on Free discussion or Swaps and Trades?
Shouldn't really sell bitcoin here since it's a collecting site, not an auction site, but the sales rules are a sticky post at the top of the Swaps and trades section.
To date, let's say no (doesn't mean it will be the final decision).
But this point is already on the agenda of the next admin meeting at end of August so we should be back soon with definitive answer.

To be consistent with my point above and as it's part of the point for discussion (selling, "promoting" sale, etc.), I'd say no advertising on forum to sell these until the final decision is made.

Do you mean exchanging bitcoins (the crypto-currency) for US dollars? If so, what is the point to "sell" on Numista forum instead of exchange websites like Coinbase?
I was using Coinbase, but they locked my out for no reason. I looked it up, and there are tons of people with the same problem. They have NO customer support. If I want to use another website, I have to give Social Security number, upload ID, give birthdate, address, everything. I don't want to do that.
Generally speaking, I'm not in favor of selling on the forum. The forum "Swaps and Trades" is for coins and tokens only, under specific limits.
Anything that is non-coin related should not be sold on Numista.
