Hello everyone,

I stumbled on this site while searching the web for data about coins.

My collecting focus is on ancient coins:

As every focus sooner or later gets too expensive and boring i also add medieval and modern types sometimes:

(you may choose a different language at the top button)

Maybe i can help add some infos here. Feel free to use my database and links for your personal information and to broaden your horizon.

Regards,

A.

Hello and welcome!

I only have a few ancients but it's so nice to have coins you can touch and hold in your hand without having to worry about ruining them. Despite the lack of aesthetic appeal (most are pretty crude compared to milled coinage) I keep returning to the idea of collecting ancients. The rather steep learning curve is also somewhat daunting so the links may prove useful if I ever go down this road in earnest.

Thanks!

Phil

I must admid there is still no time for a swap.  z|
Reviewing the existing collection and adding new aquisitions consumes a lot of time.

But as a by-product my database is growing and may help and inspire other collectors.
