2nd Prize - A .925 silver Netherlands 2002 10 Euro commemorating the Royal Wedding of Willem-Alexander and Maxima. KM 243
All proceeds will be given to the Justice for Abigail fund. The drawing will take place one week from today on Wednesday 24th of May. Abby will pick two winners from a jar containing the numbers (below) of every entrant on a folded piece of paper.
Tickets will be $10 each and we need at least 25* entries to even begin to show a profit. Buy as many slots as you like. Payment by PayPal (friends & family**) or if you don't use PayPal you can simply mail a $10 bill. As long as it arrives in time to be entered it shouldn't be a problem. If you have a lucky number, of course you can specify it as long as it's still available otherwise I'll pick one for you at random.
If you need my mailing address or PayPal info. just ask.
Winning items will be mailed free domestically with a tracking number. Overseas entries are welcome however it would be greatly appreciated if any winners outside of the US would pay for the shipping method of their choosing (only in the event of an actual win, please don't include it with the ticket price!).
If you already made payment and you don't see your name listed below please don't hesitate to remind me. Thank you to those already signed up and in anticipation of those who will do so. Good luck!
* If the number of entries wildly exceeds expectations I will add a 3rd prize to keep the winning odds reasonable.
** Payment by "Friends and Family" is standard practice for any kind of online raffle or contest.

If nobody objects I'll wrap it up a day early and try to get Abby to make the draw tonight. She's upset at the moment because we've had to cancel our vacation plans. If she's still not feeling better by bedtime I'll have her make the draw tomorrow as planned.

Hi Phil,
I don't know if you've realized this, but members from at least 9 countries bought raffle tickets. And many others have come forward to support you in your efforts.
It amazes me and makes me extremely happy that this little coin community can come together and rally for a good cause. I just wish we could be a model for the entire world.

Yes sir, it's been just wonderful and while Abby doesn't understand why all these things are being done to her, she knows that there are people all over the world doing everything they can to help her. I've followed the suggestion by one of our members and she's been tracing everyone on the globe she has in her bedroom.
We've had a lot of support ranging from substantial donations to just people gathering together and praying for her. We're finally in a position to begin the fightback and without the Numista community stepping up that wouldn't have been possible, at least not so quickly.
I wish I had a gold coin for each of you, really I do.
She was too upset over the cancelled vacation last night and my wife was little better after a threatening letter from the opposing attorney. Everything should be OK tonight though. I intend the video the drawing, she's a real ham and loves to be in front of the camera. I'll try to work out some way to post it here, but if not I'll post it on Facebook so everyone can see there are no shenanigans.
