A swap was confirmed a month ago with a member (8th March), I then broke my finger so I told said swapper that I hadn't posted yet and would post within the week (14th), on the 15th I said I hadn't posted as I hadn't heard a reply from them, the 16th they said they would post the Friday (17th) or the Monday so I replied saying I would do the same. On the 18th (Saturday) I asked them to let me know when they posted it and on the 19th they said "Okay :D".
On the 21st, 24th and then 28th I send messages inquiring as to what was happening as I hadn't heard anything. I didn't want to send mine without knowing what was happening and I feel lucky I didn't.
Then on the 31st I received a message apologizing for the long wait before sending, people in that area were being warned to stay inside due to remnants of Cyclone Debbie. I replied the very day saying I didn't mind the wait I just wanted to be kept informed as to what was happening. As I had heard nothing sine the 19th.
Then nothing again until this morning where another apology for not communicating and then they asked if we could just cancel the swap.
However I can't find a way to do that without pretending it happened and rating the member (which I do not really want to rate a swap that never happened especially in such a way it didn't happen).

Please can I get some advice and possibly from the Admin team? Thanks
As far as I know, you can give a "no rating" rating.
Swaps will not always go smoothly but in every case, communication is the key so you were absolutely right not to send yours until you were certain about the other party. There may have been a perfectly good reason but if there is a long period with no communication then that would usually set off alarm bells. In the end, as a result of your sensible approach, there was no harm done and as BSmith said, you can post a neutral rating and a comment explaining why there is no rating. Best of luck and happy collecting :)
