Fantastic news Mark and a huge congratulations to you and the one who did all the hard work! I hope that mum and son are both doing well and you will soon come to wonder where all your spare time went!
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.

Haha I can imagine !
Here he is with his New pound which I picked up at the bank for him on Tuesday.

Congratulations to the three of you! This is always a very special moment in life. If we see you online in the middle of the night we will pity you for the broken nights you will have to endure. Enjoy!
Congratulations. Almost 18 years since my last was born. The journey is (and has been) wonderful. Wishing you and your loved ones all the best on your journey.
It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble.  It's what you know for sure, that just ain't so.  Mark Twain
Congratulations!
Congrats. I assume you'll still be on to claim all your prizes for the MPCC ;)
£7.05?
That has to be worth more than any gold, platinum or other coin.
I felt the same over 30 years ago when our daughter was born, but only £6.11

Best of luck to you, your wife and to the little bundle of joy.
I'm just a collector of coins, not a slave to it, unless I am in a coin shop.
For all you banknote collectors. Link to my swap list.

Congrates Mark. May peace and health always be with you and family
It is, what it is, or is it.
My little bundle of joy will be 11 years old on the 29th of this month, before I started collecting coins. I don't even know what it's like to have collected coins without kids eating up all my time and money.
Congratu-very-lations to you!
How wonderful for you!

Sayan Biswas The Coin Collector
Congratulations! He's adorable.
Should we start a contest: what age and which coin will he want to put in his mouth first? :)

ROMA AETERNA
Congratulations to you both Mark, wonderful news :)
Congratulations!

You will find that coin collecting is the only hobby you have time for. When my second kid was born, my coin collecting rose up because all my other hobbies dies off!

Its the one thing you can do in five minute blocks and at all hours, especially after they fall asleep!

I used to do blacksmithing and copper art, brewing, dancing, camping/hiking and now I just play with my kids when I have free time. But they are worth every bit of it.
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins
Congratulations, Mark!

I agree with redsmithstudios that coin collecting is fairly amenable to fitting into a busy schedule after the kids are asleep, etc. Although especially as kids get older, they tend to drain the discretionary budget pretty quickly...
Congratulations!!! You won't sleep well as before but with his smile you will forget to be tired :) my daughter 19 months is my life and it's a pity I can't stay with her always cos my work. Enjoy your family.
