End of the UK round pound

As some of you may be aware, the new twelve sided £1 coin will be issued into circulation later this month, but my question is below.
Do I keep a few of each of them just in case someone might need some, or do I spend them now? You can take them into a bank, I believe, at any time after the closing date of November 2017.
Replies very welcome

RIP round pound. Thank you for your service.

Surely the bank exchanges them for the new ones. If you have the ones you want for yourself then I say you can wait and see how things go with the big switch.

I'm always in favour of keeping what I can though. Especially discontinued things.
I spent all the doubles pound that I had when I went in Scotland, only kept 2 ones which were rare years.
I think invariably there will be people, especially new collectors who will find the round pound, especially commems, worth swapping for. I myself carried back some 25 quid worth of 1 pound coins on my recent visit to London. I know people here in north America will definitely want one if they don't already have it.
I have been working with a Numista member in England to try to "round up the round pounds" before they get withdrawn, since I expect they will become somewhat harder to find as many get sent in by the banks to be melted down. I only have 7 more to find, I believe.
Unless they're a good grade I wouldn't say so majority of them are poor due to the type of metal they use.
Jesse11,
Which sven coins are you missing? I might be able to help.
