Private remark at 1 pound of the Great Britain 2006 year=type

there is a strange line in year distribution:
2007 not this type

No coins with the date 2007 were struck by the Royal mint. The line should be deleted together with the personal remark.

If someone wish to write about counterfeits of the type or any other story, it seems that there is enough place for it in "Comments" section of the article. But we should respect the Catalog - it reflects knowledge about coins.

This is not a solitary case and it is a work in progress but it is not a quick fix so you will have to bear with us.

There are currently 10 members showing the 2007 in their collection and they will have to be contacted individually to remove their coins before the year line can be deleted.

Just to keep everyone up to date, messages have been sent out to all members showing the 2007 date in their collection and those that have responded have kindly amended their collections accordingly, so many thanks to those that have assisted. Unfortunately, there are still four messages that have so far not been read and consequently, there are still four members showing the error date and preventing this from being deleted. Let's hope that the members in question are temporarily absent and not left altogether?

If this persist, PM me, I can deal with this... unorthodoxly...
