Coins on Amazon?

Some years ago I decided to stop using Google as I find the company to be both sinisterly manipulative and somewhat contrary to the things I believe in. So I made Bing my default search engine. I reckon that anyone who collects coins is going to be doing a lot of searching. Well Bing actually pays you to use their platform. It's not much for sure but over time it mounts up and on checking my balance I was quite pleased to discover I had accumulated over $35. The options for cashing it in are pretty limited so I opted for a bunch of Amazon gift cards thinking I'd get me some free coins courtesy of Microsoft.

Good God, what a joke. If you though eBay was bad, Amazon is just overflowing with common as dirt junk at triple catalog value. Who buys this crap? I mean, I can't find a single coin I'd be remotely interested in at a price even close to being realistic.

I admit I'm not very familiar with Amazon, am I doing it wrong? Maybe there are worthwhile coins to be found if you just know where to look for them. If all else fails I can probably get a decent book or catalog, maybe one of those Whitman Classic type albums.

Do any of you folks buy coins from Amazon?

Phil... there are very few coins there and the ones that are there are overpriced. The only positive is that you can buy the coins with Amazon gift cards... whereas on eBay you cannot use eBay gift cards to buy coins as I just found out recently. I don't think Amazon is the spot except for supplies... those are fairly priced there I think
Wait, you get paid for using bing? B.

Yeah I'd also like to hear more about this.

Otherwise, I've seen nothing but overpriced and undermanaged coins there. There's just nobody keeping an eye on coins on Amazon to make sure it's kept legitimate.

Getting paid is probably too strong a term, it's only a few cents per day but over a long period it can build up into a decent amount. I was trying to work out how much per day I'd actually earned and as is typical with Microsoft, it's not very well documented. It seems the original program was shut down and merged with MS rewards.

Still, even if the credits have ceased, nobody should be supporting a company as evil as Google.

Well, I started using bing now but I don't see an amazon gift card as a reward.
Yes, Amazon is a waste of time when it comes to coins IMO. I didn't realize they had coins until the Saddle Ridge Hoard was partially offered there. If you continue to save your Bing credits for another 100 years, you might be able to buy one:

Try this link for the Bing rewards -

It seems you can also earn them by using Edge as your browser.

I reckon I'll use the money to buy a nice book or catalog. Coins don't seem to be a realistic option even if they're technically free.

The only time I've purchased a coin on Amazon was when my credit card company had a $20 account credit offer for shopping on Amazon.com
HoH
Coins on Amazon are not even on there most of the time and when they do, they are expensive.
