HI hello super cello
Hello everyone :)
I thought that if anyone also collects banknotes here or not?
I have around 58 to 60 banknotes from around the world
I will post the images here...... of my banknotes
If you collect too post your reply here
Got this when I went to Mexico for winter break. The 1000 peso seems quite rare there due to its high denomination. The hotel had only one for the whole time I stayed there and I got it
Yes, I also collect banknotes, but no where near as seriously as coins. I have around 1,100, from many different countries, some of which no longer exist.
My favourites are three I was given by a work colleague many years ago, who was a prisoner of war in Germany.
He kept them in his wallet for all the time after he was released, until he gave them to me when he retired.
I also have a prisoner of war banknote from WW1.
I love the colouring and designs and how things have changes over time.
I have a Bristol £1 note. This is a city close to where I live, but it is only accepted in certain shops within the city of Bristol, which in the south west of England.
Yes, mainly a fan of New Zealand banknotes including the beautiful old sterling series and early dollars. I also have a few British and Australian ones. I generally don't like the cheap and nasty "Inflaccione" ones you see from Brazil and Peru, along with the bazillion ex Russian and Yugoslavian inflation ones of 1992 etc.
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Yes I collect banknotes. I have many spanning from 1862-present. Mainly the US, but I do have plenty of rare banknotes and banknotes of defunct nations in my collection.
Further to my earlier message, I have just heard that I will be adding a new country to my collection this weekend.
I helped my friends to go to rhe airport last week, so they are getting me some banknotes as a thank you.
They are on holiday in Cape Verdi.
Do not know which banknotes they have obtained, but a new country is good by me.
