I thought the Noida mintmark was a hollow circle, not a dot.

This link itself says that both Mumbai and Noida use a "small dot".  That's confusing.
I've seen British India coins with a dot mint mark for Bombay. They later changed to a diamond. The Noida mint came online in 1988 so coins with a round dot after then, are all Noida minted.
