Found in Concord MA 16" inches down in a field.
Weight 10.3 grams. Thought it was silver but now thinking no.

Don't believe it's copper, more like brass, or bronze. The metal looks more like a crotal bell material.

I agree - it is too bright for Copper.
More to say - on your coin i definitely see Mintmark (or smth) A below the head. But in Numista it is not reported and mintmark there is other.
I wonder that it is very similar coin, i.e. from the same issue but another Value or another KM#. Please check that period and coins around.
Here on ebay we have a coin with mintmark A by the way
