Hyperlinks in Excel not working

6 posts
Sorry, wasn't sure if this was an excel problem, search engine problem or site problem?!?

My hyperlinks no longer seem to work in my excel spreadsheet of my collection. At first I thought it might be because they are links to http ://en.numista..... and the site is now https://en.numista.... However, I changed one to include the "s" and it still doesn't work, just get the following message:

Anyone got any ideas please? Thanks :)
As a double check, I could open that page just now ...

Token collector [1600-1899] with some coins
Was that through a hyperlink or just typing it into the browser?

Every hyperlink I click in my spreadsheet does the same thing, but has been working fine lately!

Thanks :)
Do you have a version of Excel that you require a subscription for? I had a version of Excel that you need to pay an annual subscription which I decided not to pay and then I got a message saying some of the advanced features of excel had been cut off and I lost all the hyperlinks in my collection spreadsheet too.
Hi Neil, I think I'm still on excel 2007 (living in the stone age) lol. Was wondering if Microsoft had changed anything. Never had to pay an annual subscription though.
Apart from Excel, there are free analogs, such as WPS Office (containing practically all its functionality, including formulas). The only drawback I know so far is that it opens a bit slower.
