Swaps over post not interest due to high rates?

Hi all,

I'm new here, and since the first week of membership got quite some offerings for swaps. Since I'm only interested in Euro coins which have little more than face value, I wonder whether it is indeed common practise not to swap those over normal post, since shipping charges are - in that case - relatively high.

E.g. a member ask to swap 4 Eurocoins against comparable coins, which seems an attractive swap for both of us. However the shipping cost is - for both of us - already half the value of the coins.

Ron,

The swap by post it's an expensive activity in Holland.
Let the post costs pay themselves by swapping as much as possible coins in one single swap, otherwise it's better to buy the coins at the local markets.
Cents are money too!

We can swap a big quantity in person if you want too.
