Australia 3 pence 1944S variety

There is a "S" letter variety type 1 and type 2 for the 3 pence 1944S in our catalogue (https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces2980.html).
Is there anybody who knows if the variety is in the letter itself or in the place of the letter?
I have a 1944S with the S against the ribbon and a 1944S with the S far from the ribbon. Is that the variety difference or is it something else?

Finally found the answer after receiving another 1944S coin.
As you can see in the picture on the first post, there is also a difference in the place of the mint mark, but the determination for type 1 or 2 is the shape of the "S". Type 1 has an "S" with serifs, type 2 has an "S" without serifs:
