4. Transit Tokens
13. India (ancient) demonetization
Currently working on the tokens

Moving on to demonetizing for #13
Ancient Indian coinage from #13 marked for demonetization, pending approvals.
Working on marking Bahamas coins as non-demonetized. First two pages of the original search edited, going back and working on the last five medieval lettering coins posted.
All medieval lettering jobs done.

Working on getting the Bahamas coins marked as monetized atm, good lord there are a lot of them.
Bahamas and Bermuda coins all marked as non-demonetized. Most of the Bahamas ones have already been reviewed and accepted.
Quote6. Falkland Islands - set as not demonetized: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?mode=avance&p=1&r=&e=iles_malouines&d=&ca=3&no=&i=&v=&m=&a=&t=&dg=&w=&u=missing&f=&g=&c=&tb=y&tc=y&tn=y&tp=y&tt=y&te=y&cat=y
Finished these, they're awaiting verification, though. I hope directing whoever is in charge of verifying changes to this thread is good enough for the source because that's what I've been doing.
Thanks! <:D New work added!

Done, aside from one of the Đồng ones.

This coin has the mint name of Boo-dung in the title, but Boo-dong in the comments. So now I am wondering: which should it be? Boo-dung is more consistent with the rest of these, so I would just assume to change the comment one to Boo-dung. But if it is supposed to be Boo-dong, would it still be Boo-đồng (the D thing would be lower-case to match all the rest of the mint names in China - Empire)?
Hello folks,

I will move Ahmadnagar, Delhi, Bahmani and Bijapur from Indian States to the corresponding issuers.

Also I will fix the Romania demonetization issue.

You can drop "Dong" for China - Empire. Each coin of this part will be reviewed and harmonized soon, already working on it. ;)

Working on section A of Medieval letterings and description. Please add lettering and/or description where needed. I found this site and copied to MSWord, then saved as a PDF to be used as a reference for Latin abbreviations for coins from the 14th - 19th centuries. It is a very handy tool. Learning as I go, but I know things today I did not know yesterday.

Link to Latin abbreviations: http://muzeydeneg.ru/eng/?p=550
Beware of forgeries. But....sometimes they can be valuable, too.
Section A is completed for the second time. I tried to complete the translations, but more than likely made some mistakes. I have spent hours looking for a complete reference book or PDF with all the Latin abbreviations. If anyone knows of a site where I might be able to download one or mark as a link, please reply.
Thanks.

Hello.
It would be great if someone could help with the correction of metals for tokens. Fix Aluminum for Aluminium, Aluminum-bronze (Aluminum bronze) for Aluminium-bronze.

Thank you.

Hi
I went into the part of the cat. where only current coins in circulation are shown. ie. ALL countries , NOW .
Scrolling through I saw that there are a lot in the Australia section that should not be there, (gold & pre-decimal etc. )
Thanks
Merv
Hi
I am interested to know if there is any place that I can catalogue sets of coins (Long sets, short sets, etc?

I think perhaps that's because those coins haven't been marked as demonetised? Not sure, just a hunch.

What is a "long set" or a "short set"? Confused. B.
should I change details & send for verification on anything that I find?

Merv
Actually nevermind; I just checked and while most of the Australian coins are not marked as demonetised, typing in "now" in the advanced search in France also brings up lots of coins that have been. Might be a bug.
Some states like Australia never demonetized their old gold coins. US does the same with all coins. For me it is weird.

Yes, now for me it is working (France advanced search with "now"):

Long Sets and short sets are coins that a mint has produced for the year eg. from Rand 5 to 1 cent for the year 1994. A long set will incorporate any gold coins produced.
