Please add this variety in the British India catalogue.
1/4 Anna - Bombay presidency
1833
Error "E" in "Quarter Anna" legend.

Could you please post images of the entire coins as there are multiple varieties for the 1833 1/4 anna. Knowing which you have will assist in validating a known error variety.

I have 4 types in this variety.
1/4 Anna - 1833, AH1249 with Quarter Anna -Large size Font (KM#232)
1/4 Anna - 1833, AH1247 with Quarter Anna -Medium size Font - Mule (KM#233)
1/4 Anna - 1833, AH1249 with Quarter Anna -Medium size Font (Not listed by Krause)
1/4 Anna - 1833, AH1249 with Quarter Anna -Medium size Font with broken/wrong legend (Not listed by Krause)

KM#232, Small font variety is missed in my collection.

I do not think adding for your error coin is possible due to just how many other error coins which are commonplace with India British. Rotation error varieties are also common in my experience.

Yours does appear to be a worn die but I will await other opinions to clarify this.
