I recently bought a few pounds of world coins to sift through and pick out some things I collect/want and I was listing some of the coins on here today on my exchange list and came across a 1998 2 Rupee that had a small nick on the rim.
When I went to list it on my exchange column, I had previously posted "Small Nick on Edge Above "India"!!!!", so apparently, I had swapped it, and its been swapped again and again, and has found its way back into my collection, LOL.
I just may keep it.

I always get a tingle up my leg when I see a coin in a flip with my handwriting on it, on eBay for example. I'm somewhat less thrilled to see the VF+ grade blanked out and the coin offered as EF or even AU.
F**pigs.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

I quite often see mine up for sale, They're easy to pick because of the information I write on the flips, my unmistakable scrawl and the fact that I put a red or green sticker on my flips to show me at a glance whether it's a coin that I'm happy with the grade, or one that I want to upgrade.
Never for me- I see coins as going into my collection and never coming out again. I've only ever let go of one coin in my 5 years of collecting- a poor grade Latvian 5 Latis.

That's just too much!
I see that kind of grade inflation even in properly organized eBay stores and not just individual sellers.
