Hi, I'm Giedrius Bagdonas, Lithuanian, my special themes are Lithuanian halfgroats of 1495-1529, Lithuanian groats 1625-1627, Lithuanian solids 1614-1627, 1652-1653.
Belarussian Dzmitry Huletski and me are writing the new catalogue „Coins of Grand Duchy Lithuanian 1495-1536“ now.

Any information about the varieties of the Lithuanian coins 1495-1536, not included into previous catalogues, is welcomed.

Especially looking for the pictures of half-groats (1508-1529) and groats (1535-1536) of Sigismund the Old.
Each catalogue‘s picture of the coin, taken from you, will be followed by the name of the collector from whom the coin will be acquired.

Thank you.

So, we are working on the book. There's too much unpublished, especially about the Lithuanian large groats of Sigismund the Old 1535-1536, so we decided to restrict our theme: the book will be about the early Lithuanian half-groats (1495-1529) only. The page of rough copy included ( the original issue will be in English only). We will include even 91 different varieties of Lithuanian half-groats of Alexander Jagiellon, and much more varieties of Lithuanian half-groats of Sigismund the Old, You can find in any catalogue today : year 1509 – 55 different varieties, 1510 – 32, 1511 – 30, 1512 – 61, 1513 – 74.... so, we hope, it will be the widest book about the Lithuanian half-groats of 1495-1529 for noon....
