Nepal 5 paisa inconsistency
It is a question about physical data of 2 issues:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces5458.html
with Diameter 21 mm; mass 1.23 g
and
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces19812.html
with Diameter 20.7 mm; mass 1.3 g
The catalog states different masses and sizes for them.
At the same time these 2 coins, being attributed as FAO http://www.delcampe.net/page/item/id,395055925,language,E.html
and coronation http://www.delcampe.net/page/item/id,0395056087,language,E.html
types gives the same size in diameter and thickness. Though they were attributed as suggested aUNC, there is possibility that the closer look will show the UNC condition for both, due to low quality of the local mint. Anyway the difference of size in 0.3 mm is distinguished by fingers easyly, which means that at least one of the number if not both, should be corrected. The difference in mass is not dramatic. These coins create impression that the physical data of both issues should be the same. That is why there is a question
- can we verify that the size is the same?
If it is the same, then it is better to give the same size and mass in both articles.
