There are many problems with the so called Italian states, but I have not found any way to signal and suggest correction in the site, and so i am writing here.
Italian states - Tuscany - Lira (1601-1859)
Forgetting for the moment, that we have never heard of a statal organization called Tuscany at that time (There was instead a "Grand Duchy of Tuscany" ), the coins listed under this headings are a mix of the coins of the "Grand Duchy of Tuscany" and of the "Governo provvisorio della Toscana" (Provisional Government of Tuscany) which was active for 22 months from 1859 and 1861 (the beginning of the Italian Kingdom).
The Provisional Government of Tuscany was issuing the lira coins, whereas the other coins were issued by the Grand Duchy of Tuscany.
