Hello,
One more request concerning the Indian coin:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1628.html

Anybody knows if its 79.1 .2 or .3?

1988 ♦ KM#79.1 (Mumbai Mint; security edge)

1988 ♦ KM#79.2 (Mumbai Mint; pedestal different, more detailed; security edge)

1988 ♦ KM#79.3 (Mumbai Mint; Lions' chest hairs restyled; security edge)

I personally have no idea how to find a difference
Will appreciate any assistance
Thank you,
Radek
Lets compare to other dates
The Numista pictured coin is:
KM#79.2 (Noida Mint; pedestal different, more detailed; security edge)

U can see that KM# 79.2 (different pedestrial of the lions) is fitting ! :8D
And U'll find other dates on the web :D

Now lets see what NGC is proposing for the KM#79.3 (Mumbai Mint; Lions' chest hairs restyled; security edge)

Well ... not so obvious, surely more chest hair than me but that's not being taken in account...
and the pedestrial is smaller.

What's Ucoin is proposing for the standard KM#79.1 ?

Well ... too small pedestrial for the lion.

To summarize what Frenchlover said...... although I cannot really tell the difference in pedestals between KM#79.1 & KM#79.2...
KM#79.3 is obvious with the re-engraved chest hair

I guess the bull and the horse look different in the pedestals....

Thank you for your information.
In my opinion it is 79.1 because pedestal is not so detailed (like 79.2) and lion's chest hair doesn't look restyled (79.3).
Do you agree with me?
Now, facing these detailed picture of @josephjk, I'm a bit lost.
Usually, differences of the pedestrial is concerning the height, size and width.
