Maybe Bahamani Sultanate [Indian States] coin?

approximately 8.2 grams, 18 mm wide, and 4.4 mm thick

I was told: "Bahamani Sultanate, 1/2 Gani", but it weighs much more than the cataloged coin matching those words.
This is the only 1/2 Gani from this Sultanate that I found: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces48877.html

Is this the same coin? If it is, which one of the two dates matches my coin?

The weight was not standardized in Pre-Mughal medieval sultanate coins such as this, and whatever was used was not properly documented. So each author gives their own designation to denominations and often conflicting. As of now Goron-Goenka book's reference is what i would go with.
