Members search [solved]

Is there a easy way to search for members? Sometimes we mention the name of another member in a post but if we try to search for that person its quite difficult.

Which is your shortcut for this??? or does the site has some search available for members???

Sure, just start typing the members name into the search bar at the top of the page, it brings up all the members that start with what you type. for example, because I have a huge ego I searched for myself and started typing my username, and after typing a few letters it came up with this

Few days ago that was not part of my search... have you noticed that part since long time??? or this is something new? that was the reason I created the post as few weeks ago I was searching for someone and it did not give me any results...

I think this was implemented at the beginning of this year

Anyway if I put the user name and request a complete search I can find his profile in the results...

Another way (I never realised you could type names in search) is by clicking on the Forum Tab and at the bottom it counts the total number of members, you can click on this number to bring up the entire list of members:

That way is slightly more work though

I know, especially as you have to scroll through hundreds for each letter of the alphabet lol. Thanks for the heads up on typing them into search though, I never knew that
