1 rial AH 1384

hi everyone. I was wondering if you can help me determine if this is a fake. I can't seem to find this particular date (AH 1384). I don't speak Farsi, so I might be reading the date wrong.

Thanks for the help. Cheers

It is not uncommon to encounter on Iranian coins dates with swapped numbers, 4 and 8 in this case. Yours is 1348 (1969) not 1384 (2005).
I collect coins and tokens which circulated in Africa from 18th century to 2000. I sell about 7000 illustrated world coins from http://www.avscoins.com.
Thank you Andrey.
Do you know why do these kind of discrepancies occur?

On some coins, you can't see the bottom of ۵ in years AH 135x

There is a different shape between the top of ۵ and the top of ٨ which is sharper and with a line of the same width for the left and right legs.

So this coin is from AH1454 = 1952. It's clear on the magnification.

I've got such a coin where you can't see the bottom of ۵ especially for AH 1453 small digit variety

Congratulations, keen eye. I believe you're right. On the magnification of the second coin in the documentation you can clearly see the legs of the digit differ in width, which is common for a ۵ but not for a ٨.
