Silver or silver clad? That is the question!

Hi.

I've just bought a coin but it hasn't arrived yet. It could be either

or
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6463.html

They are the same coin but one is silver clad and one is solid .510 silver. Is there any easy way to tell which? I'm working on the principle that it will be the silver clad coin (it's not coming from a collector so the person I'm getting it from knows nothing about the coin).

Thanks
Do a density test

It says that the link doesn't work!
If the dimensions of the coins are the same the 510 silver ones should be around 7-9% heavier depending on the thickness of the silver cladding and how pure it is.
Sorry, try this

We actually were just discussing this coin a week or two ago. The silver coin is the proof version, so it should be visually distinctive compared to the silver-clad version.

As Jesse11 said, the silver coin exists only in proof.
And of course, there is a big difference in price. May I ask what you paid for the coin?
As I said in the other post: the silver ones have 'frosted' heads, the silverplated have not.
And you should see a two-coloured edge, as you can see on the link
The value of these coins is very very low in Belgium. Nobody wants them any more, even the silver ones, the get only the price of the silver.

Non est totum quod splendet ut aurum
Rijkdom bestaat niet uit het hebben van veel bezittingen, maar in het hebben van weinig behoeften
Someone should change the picture on the coin page then, because the picture on the page of the silver coin certainly doesn't look like a proof

Just to add to any confusion, copies are available on AliExpress.
