Coin Modification History

Is it possible for a member to view the modification History of a coin .. ??

Yes, definitely unfortunate ... I'd like to find out who the person was that moved about a ¼ of the Notgeld to the Token section without saying anything or even asking the membership ...

Notgeld is Notgeld, whether it is municipal, commercial or private. "It all circulated as currency."

I've seen there is a serious difference of treatment between such notgeld/tokens. Germany is victim of this massive change now, France was a long time before... But UK & Canadian provinces are resisting. That difference can't continue that way.

I have around 500+ Notgeld and it looks like around 100 or so were moved to tokens .. NOT GOOD .. !!!

SO the question is ... are the valid Notgeld that was moved to the Tokens section going to be returned to their proper place in the catalog ....  ??????

OR .. Is this going to be like so many other incidents, that a single referee or admin gets a hair tickling the wrong place and no one in the administration has the intestinal fortitude to have them correct their "FU" .... If this is the case, it is one of the major reasons why experienced numismatics are leaving the site ...

​SO ... It looks like no one in the Admin arena has the intestinal fortitude to move the Notgeld out of the Tokens Section back to where they belong .. Very sad, very sad indeed ....

Have you submited request to move them?

If not, I will do that, and maybe we can initiate some talk on them.

Besides, there are really a lot of modification requests right now (I believe around 2500). Not all of them hang on the tokens section, but lot of them surely do.

​Why should anyone have to submit a request to have them moved back. They were moved without request in the first place. As a matter of fact they were moved without any knowledge of/or discussion from the membership. If I'm not mistaken, this is a catalog of, for and by the membership ......

I would be more than willing to go through the token section to submit requests to have them moved, but will not do if some referee or admin is going to reject them all.. Total waste of my time and effort.

I am aware of the mountainous task that is at hand with submitted change and addition requests. This is one reason why it irritates me so much that they were moved. If there is such a large backlog of validations to be done, where in the hell did someone find the time to arbitrarily move that many coins out of the Notgeld section to the tokens section.

I've been a member of this site for at least a couple of days... I do realize that nothing happens fast unless a referee or admin get a wild rectum hair out of place and goes wild ... It's been almost a month since I started this thread and in my opinion, under the circumstances that they were moved, it's plenty of time for the person(s) who moved them, to move them back ...

I truly understand your anger. Almost everything moves slowly here, and we have to live with that. By the way, what is a week or month for a Numismatic?

I will submit request for a few then (will start with those you provided), try to argument nicely, and if there is some progress, I will notify you here.

Hope we can get them moved back.
