Dear Friends:

I have a Cuban 1 Centavo 2002, KM 33, but It isn't in the Catalogue. I did the suggestion to add it, but still have not.
Thanks.

 I have just now made a request as well. For a 2002 KM# 33 (KM# 33.3) Cuba 1 Centavo coin.
Depending on how busy the team are it may take an hour or day or so.  :)

I've added it - however I'd like you to do us a favor, too!
please upload an image here in this thread showing your 2002 coin from both sides.
it's just...people ask about adding years all day long because something is supposed to be missing-
but then forget to prove it. no offense - but we usually need some proof first.
now you know this for the next time. And here I show you why. It's an excerpt from a not so old edition
of Krause Standard Catalog of World Coins.

QuoteKM# 33.3 CENTAVO
0.7500 g., Aluminum, 16.76 mm. Obv: Cuban arms within
wreath, denomination below Rev: Roman denomination within
circle of star, date below Edge: Plain Note: Shield varieties exist.
Date Mintage F VF XF Unc BU
2001 — — 0.10 0.40 0.80 1.75
2003 — — 0.10 0.40 0.80 1.75
2004 — — 0.10 0.40 0.80 1.75
2005 — — 0.10 0.40 0.80 1.75
see, there's no 2002 mentioned. As this happens quite a lot with WC catalogs but we still have
to rely on that data (and other catalogs) it is absolutely important to have something to "look at"
before adding data. Otherwise we might run into trouble adding data / years that are not really missing
but belong to different entries. This also happens a lot here.
Thanks - and I agree about the photo and all else you wrote; and just so you know, I did not make the request just because it was asked for. I did look it up online somewhere, and it did say there was one !  :)

yes - that is so true. I sometimes search the internet for any evidence that a coin exists.
checking google images and such. WC catalogs are full or errors
Thanks friends:

I have the "2008 Standard Catalog of World Coins 2001 - Date"; and in that book is possible to find this:
.

But, I could send the pic of my coin, please, tell me why? in the "add options"?

Thanks from Costa Rica

Well I have the WC 2001-date of 2011 (5th edition)
and the 1 centavo 2002 km#33.3 don't appear anymore !, so strange !!

I think we need to have a good picture of the coin for confirm year.
yes, please. and here's how:
make some pictures with your digital camera. do them in a smaller resolution jpg (maybe by selecting
digicam menu option).
then store them on your local HD.
then open this thread, add a new post.
above you will spot a button called "Image", upload your images by using this function.
select image then check "real size". click "upload"
done

we still "need" this image - be it to satisfy our curiosity.  :wiz:
Hi friends, I have the pics of my "Cuban  1 Centavo 2002 KM 33:

very good and clear indeed  :8D

so unless you're a pro in photoshop editing this shows without any doubt that there IS a
2002 issue. seems like WC catalogs have it wrong again.

thank you very much
Thanks  friend, but I dont use Photoshop, just the basic tools for image editing in Microsoft Word!!!!
