I have this nice 1/24 Reichsthaler from Prussia but I can't make an exact identification.
Metal: Billon
Weight: 2.18 g.
Diameter: 20.2 mm
My coin is similar to the KM# 263 but the date is on the other side.
It looks more like the KM# 264 from Prussia (not listed on numista) but the G mint seems not to exist for that coin (standard catalog of WC, 5th edition, page 529). Maybe an error or oversight of the WC ?
I've found some similar coins on the internet: 1/24 Reichsthaler on ma-shops 1/24 Reichsthaler on ebay
There are many more, all are similar but never exactly the same. And no one has a KM# number, a few have the reference: Olding 177c
I'm a little bit lost and need your help. Can someone help me to identify this coin exactly and give me the right KM# reference, if it exists ?
Thank you very much in advance
Sam

"Olding" is Olding, Manfred: Die Münzen Friedrichs des Großen. 1987 (Küncker) ISBN 978-3980164405 or the second editon 2006 (Regenstauf or Gietl) ISBN 978-3866465060
QuoteTrue. i have found your coin in Krause German States Prussia C# 14 page 400 1701-1800
Thanks doc_man,
but I cannot find the C#14, we probably have different editions.
My Krause catalog is 5th edition and there is no coin with a C# 14 reference.
