Unusual wear or a version with no mint mark?

This one is EF to show mint mark location




and this one is a fine grade but no visible mint mark.




Wear is the first thing of course and not a coin with no mint mark, but then the rim would have to be the only part to have enough wear to strip off the mint mark without wearing the feathers in the same way.

opinions? Wear or no MM?

if I look closely I think a can see some on top left side. But I think you have one with a clogged die .

No mint mark, l too have a German coin with no mm; don't know how to determine its value.

I can see (I marked in red) a worn letter A on both sides ...

You may well be right Zac, strange how the mint mark is much lower than the others.

I see an M at the dark spot near Zak's left A.

The thing that is confusing me is if it is wear, then why isn't the eagle tail feathers worn as well in the centre of the pic?

I dont see any worn mm, however this coin seems strange, look how the tallons are elongated and sort of drag into the surface. And the narrow feathers between the normal feathers seem to long?

That just makes it even more puzzling, especially as they are the same year.
