I would appreciate any help you can give in identifying this small copper coin for India

Hi Roy,

The coin looks similar to Post-Kushana Inscribed type. Maybe somewhere close to Kota-Kula coinage, but i am unable to find something similar to in the catalogs. Will keep looking.

That is Arabic on the obverse. Similar to the Umayyad Fals. Rotate the right image 90 degrees clockwise for the Obverse. The left image is the Reverse...

Thanks Quant.Geek. I have changed the images are you suggested. It certainly helps to have them the correct way round. I can now see the similarity to the coin you posted.
