Partial success with Medieval coin [solved]

2 posts
My research for this coin has taken me away form the Crusades to a person called Eric of Pommerania and I have come up with the following:

Medieval hammered silver penning of Eric of Pommerania. On the obverse there is a crown with the legend reading ERICVS REX D S. The reverse is a short cross with the legend MONETA LVNDENSI. The coin was minted at Naestved. Dates to between c1403 and c1413 AD.

I am still a little confused because the coin has been referred to elsewhere as an Irish Short Cross Penny and elsewhere as a coin from Europe.

My book on Irish coins does include the period in question and I wondering if anyone can help to validate the information

Thanks
Roy
