What is a beautiful but inexpensive coin?

I have a soft spot for BU copper and brass, as well as highly detailed coins (not necessarily fine details, but a lot of them. I don't like plain coins as much. The winner of MPCC IV was beautiful for example.)

It depends what you mean by inexpensive. You can't go past the one that won the special round of the coin contest this year

I'm also a sucker for this one

If you're talking slightly more, then I like some of the early Vatican coins

And the NZ centennial half crown

Here is one I really like:

Anything Austrian.
None of these are copper, but they still have really nice designs

New Zealand shillings are quite nice:

Under a buck for XF. Earlier silver ones are a bit more expensive, though, especially if you want a high grade one.
HoH
They're not nearly as expensive as some other coins from the same era though. At least over here. I usually pick up silver ones in about VF for around NZ$4 which is about US$2.50.

I would love to buy a few!
They're not always at that price, but I wait until they are and that's what I pay for them when I do buy them. I should start building up a supply of pre-decimal New Zealand coins because there always seem to be people on this site who want them. I just sent off a batch of florins and shillings to another member a week ago.
This is an example of Italian awesome coin, that in medium conservation is not expensive.

Also the 2 lire of the 1914-1915-1916
Fabio Benedetti
another one!

I really like the Swedish 2 kronor coins, it's silver and cost a little but not expensive.

My favourite is this one which I have in my doubles if anyone of you are interested to swap

I think it's beautiful, not too small not too big.

Nice! Is that Swiss?
No, Italian Eritrea. The design is copied from the Maria Theresa Thaler, which was the most trusted coin in the region at the time.
