Can anyone identify this coin, please.

It's about 22 mm in diameter and 3 mm in thickness, possibly of bronze.

Many thanks

Matt
Hey Matt!

It's an Indian Princely State coin, I think from Gwalior. You should look it up in Numismaster.

Hello matt it reads
1/4 anna " Pav Anna" as called in Hindi on top. At bottom "Samvat 1970" the hindu year

On the other side the name of the prince at that time in Gwalior
Left the two words "Shri Madhavrao" continuation on the top of the hat "Shinde Aliawarjang Bahaddar" and at the bottom "Gwalior" His great grandson is now a member of parliament in India Mr. Jotiraditya Sindya.
