2. Souvenir token from the historic Frohnauer Hammer, near Annaberg Buchholz. This town is in the Erzgebirge region ('ore mountains'), where metallurgy was striving in the middle ages.

Your coin is from the GDR-period (< 1989). This may make it more wanted than the more modern ones. The first link mentions that the token occurs in different metals. Yours look like aluminium, and it's possible that these tokens were hammered right in front of the eyes of the people buying them. I must have a similar Czech aluminium souvenir token lying around which I hammered myself
