After a little discussion I got chomp-master to agree with me. Coins for Ruanda-Urundi were actually Belgian Congolese Francs but the Belgians just added Ruanda-Urundi to the legend next to "Belgisch Congo Belge" to respect the separate status of this mandate territory that was before part of German East Africa.
Do you mean you're going to merge "Belgian Congo" with "Ruanda-Urundi", or jut add "Belgian Congo & Ruanda-Urundi" which will lead to the same page as "Ruanda-Urundi" ?

I also prefer "Belgian Congo & Ruanda-Urundi", just like in the official Belgian catalog.
And only for those coins who are now listed as "Ruanda-Urundi", so not merged with "Belgian Congo".
I agree. I recently found a whole bunch of the 5 Francs coins and went to put them in my swap list (all swapped, don't get excited)I looked under Belgian Congo. It took quite some time to find Ruanda-Urundi. The catalog should be as intuitive as possible without sacrificing accuracy so the proposal to add Belgian Congo to the page title makes perfect sense.
Non illegitimis carborundum est. Excellent advice for all coins.

This thread is four years old but no action has been taken on this. I wonder if there are still plans to correct this in the catalogue.
Currently, coins from Belgian Congo & Rwanda-Urundi are only shown over Rwanda and Burundi in the world map but they should appear over the Congo as well.
