Need help identifying this coin.
Everything seems fine, but the hair style (curls) is not exactly what I can find on the internet?
Different varieties exist?
KM# 23 SCUDO (Ecu, 60 Sols)???

According to the Standard Catalog of World Coins, 1601 - 1700, 4th edition, there is nothing about the existing of varieties.

When you compare the pictures, there are some differences. The curl in red on your coin can't be found on the picture in the Catalog and the most left curl on your coin ends higher than at the other picture (the red stripes):

miss strike? where to find more info?
fake?
Not a fake, i also have some old coins that are not shown exactly in the krause catalogue, that's why sometimes they note "variations exists" or something like that.
Thanks Kommodore

You sure its not a fake? Just need to know because I might purchase the coin.. 8)

Sure it's not, the wear looks hundred years old, and it looks silver.
For example the coin in the link is more likely to be fake than yours.
never buy an expensive coin if you're not 100% sure about it's authenticity
What's the price for this?
I'm going to try and get it for about R1800-R2500 ($170-$240 +/-)
Will probably test prior with a magnet or silver test kit and scratch stone.
