Help Identifying Sasanian Coin! [solved]

6 posts
Hi everyone;
I have these 3 Sasanian coins and everyone knows they're Sasanian, but no one knows which king and what city or what date!!
Is there anyone here who can read something out of them or knows some details about them?? cause all Sasanian coins look the same to me so I can't find any detail on the internet.
Thanks.

Coin 1

Coin 2

Coin 3

Some of the points in identifying the Sassanian coins are,
1] The crown each king or queen wears
2] The king's name is to the right of the king's portrait within the borders
3] To the right of the attendants on reverse is the mint mark
4] To the left of the attendants on reverse is the regnal year

Here is a nice article explaining it.

I think the coins are as follows,
Coin 1: Hormazd VI (I am not able to read regenal year and mint on reverse)
Coin 2: Khusro II, Mint - Yazd, RY#2
Coin 3: Khusro II, Mint - Istakhr, RY#28

Are these coins expensive?? Cause in Iran trading of these coins is illegal but again they are cheap and you can find one with the cost of about 25 dollars!!

Generally Sassanian coins are not that expensive. The coins of Khusro II and Hormazd are cheap and 25 dollars seems ok price for them.
There are some ruler's coins, especially the earlier ones, which are rare and hence can be expensive.
Have a look on some auction sites to get a rough idea of prices
