Coin shop in Krakow (Poland)

6 posts
Hi!

I am going to Poland on monday and staying for a week. Does anyone know of any coin shops and shops that sell coin collecting equipment in Krakow? I've been to Krakow before, but that is 13 years ago.
At Floriańska 40 street you can find 1 shop for 100%, maybe second will be opened too :)
Thanks for the tip  :)
I visited Krakow once and I spent 4 amazing days there. I took a walking tour and while we were heading toward jewish town, we passed by the flee market. I saw several people that were selling coins. I stopped by one of the tables and an older person had a full box of coins and he was selling them for really cheap per peace. I remember I bought 10 coins (Latvian coins from 1920's and other were commemorative Polish coins)
That box was full of interesting coins but I had only 2 minutes because I was part of the tour. I planed to come back the next day and buy me some more, but when I returned next day there was noone selling coins. I guess they have one day a week when they sell antiques and on other days they sell other stuff.
Thanks a lot :) I will be sure to stop by the flea market during the week

I am planning to travel to Krakow for a long weekend next month and visit, among other things, the National Museum Numismatic Room

On the other hand, I don't find the above-mentioned shop at

Floriańska 40 street

on internet maps or other searches for Krakow coins or numismatics.

Does anyone know if the shop is still there or if others are now open?

Other info regarding the flea market(s) where/when coins may be found also appreciated.
