Hi,
Are you following cricket world cup? Do you enjoying this season ?
If your country not participating, are you supporting any other country ?
Let's discuss a bit on it.
Indian cricket team not sponsored by government. It's an autonomous authority. So, I don't think India will ever issue such commemorative coins.
And, I really wonder why our most commemorative coins bounded around person or history. We are achieving so much new things, where those matter goes... Afteral it's a profit for government mint too.
Most surprisingly, TAJMAHAL. Other countries had issued coins on it. But, India ......
For "weird" sports I prefer watching Rugby; specially because they don't show cricket at all over here at the 4 ESPN or 2 FOX Sports chanels; there is a lot of football from all America and Europe to show. The show American Rugby (Football for US) a lot as well. And Rugby when there are cups. But not a single Cricket game, people just falls asleep as; 1st we don't understand it, 2nd most people doesn't even know who is playing.
So, no I don't follow the cup.

India has an easy pool. Apart from South Africa they have an under performing West Indies team going through major internal issues. A Pakistan team that lost half their bowlers and hasn't looked like winning a game this cup, then the minnows Zimbabwe, UAE and Ireland.
The other side of the draw is much tougher, World number 1 Australia, up and coming New Zealand, England who just a few weeks ago easily beat India twice in 2 games in the Australian tri series, and Sri Lanka, then the minnows Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Scotland.
Top 2 from the two pools will be India and South Africa, New Zealand and Australia. If there's no upsets in the quarterfinals that would make the semis India vs Australia at the SCG and New Zealand vs South Africa at Eden Park. I think South Africa will be too strong for us and we all know India's record against Australia in Australia.
Final will be South Africa vs Australia and it will be taken out by South Africa.
Ireland - can't believe win over West Indies and also UAE.
Considering that cricket is not popular here and the ones who are in world cup are pretty much the only guys playing it here... Awesome results so far. Didn't expect that at all.
like i mentioned i have no clou of the game and i dont even know the teammembers but i know sri lanka is the best for sure. So little inahbitants and such good players. Every indian and pakistani city has more people, you must not forget that..
So if anybody asks me, i always cross the fingers for Sri Lanka.

Nice prediction
But i think newzeland has a chance to win this world cup
You have two sides, one out in the field and one in. Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out. When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side that's been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out. Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in. There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out. When both sides have been in and all the men have been out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game

I think cricket is popular game in ex- British colonies. But I doubt if this gae is popular in UK....
and in other world as well.
baseball, cricket.. - I dont understand these games... I think they are too monotonous and tedious games. And I guess all the world think same, exept of India, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, and some other countries . but this is 1/5 of world population so we have to agree with them :)
This season some of the test playing nation, not at their best.
Like England, Pakistan....
Small teams doing well.
How Can you say Australia at best when new Zealand beat them?
And south Africa will remain as chocker. They will go up to semis maximum.
New Zealand very very strong. BUT, probably they will not be able to handle the pressure.
This is world cup. So, India's record in Australia does not matter.
Australia or India will win the world cup. You read it here first. Take a screenshot of this post.
India's record in Australia does count, just like Australia's record in India counted last world cup. Some teams don't perform well in some conditions, Australia don't play well in India so they didn't win the last world cup and India do not perform well in Australia so will not win this one.
As I said, the likely semi finals given the position in the pools is India vs Australia and SA vs NZ so the final will NOT be India vs Australia.
Don't follow the cricket, but my girlfriend is working in India for the next couple of weeks. She's sat in the hotel having lunch and has just sent me this picture:

I'm not an expert in any kind of coins, but I reckon I'm good at research and will do my best to help. Feel free to tell me my identifications/valuations/gradings are wrong. It's the only way I'll learn.
It was a day of history - South Africa broke their WC knock-out jinx while there was no fairytale ending for Sangakkara and Mahela
With 99 stumpings to his name, Kumar Sangakkara will end up with one short of becoming the first wicket-keeper to effect 100 stumpings in the ODI format.
I really like watching Sangakkara bat. He is one of the most underrated cricketers on the planet. His average, century scoring rate and runs per game in tests is actually better than Tendulkar's he's only 3,000 less runs from almost 70 less tests and yet he has mostly slipped under the radar while Tendulkar was revered as a God.

Huge game today. Hopefully Guptill can continue his pattern. His last 3 games he's scored a 50, a 100 and a 200, so hopefully that would mean that this game he scores a 300
I've never been more happy to be wrong. Hopefully I can get the other part right. It would be really great to have both co-hosts in the final. It happened in 2011 where both India and Sri Lanka who co-hosted the tournament were in the finals.

Best of luck for the finals! Aussies out-played Indians today, so should be a good game on Sunday.

How's that for symmetry? 2011 the co-hosts India and Sri Lanka were in the final, NZ went out in the semis, Australia went out in the quarters. 2015 the co hosts New Zealand and Australia are in the final, India went out in the semis, Sri Lanka went out in the quarters. 2011 Australia were the defending champions and they got beaten by India in India, 2015 India were the defending champions and they got beaten by Australia in Australia.
