The "POINT" is, this is the "ENGLISH" forum .  It's call "The English Forum" for that reason.  Have a problem with that ... ??

Most of the time when someone posts in English in the French forum, everybody raises hell about it ...  Fair is fair and tit for tat and all that jazz.. and as far as I'm concerned, end of conversation ..

Is it forbidden to french speaking people to intervene on the english forum?

The Lituanian collector is asking for some euro commemorative coins on both forums.

Of course, the title of his intervention was in french  but the rest of the message was understandable, and maybe interesting for some english sepaking people.

If some people of the french forum are stupid enough to criticize those who may send a message in english (because they don't know french), don't forget that many people on the french forum speak ALSO english.

Anyway you should be more intelligent thay they are and at least more tolerant

Iam with szmata on this we can be more tolerant. And that is coming from someone who was told to only write in French. When i posted on the French form.Come on we are all coin collecters.
 Yes you should always try to write in the french on the french form and english on the english forum. But it can be hard So let not cut out half the people. And there are alot of French coin collecters who go on both forums.
