That is accepting too many different opinions .. It's the same problem we have now ..
There should be a standard for the site. When you look at the page for the coin, Obverse on the left and Reverse on the right. Therefore, the issuing authority goes on the left, hence, the Obverse. Very easy and nothing confusing about it ...
