My friend found a coin in his garden in France.
Copper coin
Ludovicus XV Dei Gratia on the obverse and Franciae Et Navarrae Rex 1723 on the reverse.
A half Sol as far as I can establish.
For my friend's benefit is this of any value?

Picture would help.
If it is found in the garden, the quality must be very good to have some value

Hello,
Looks more like this one

But you need to provide size and weight. Nice for a garden find

Hello Andre,
Its 25mm diameter, about 1,5mm thick and weighs 6gr.
More likely to be a half Sol - 6 Deniers?
Regards
