Which coin has the largest mintage?
Not total sum for all years, but only mintage in one year?

Yes we've had this topic before, and the humble US penny came out on top, several years where billions have been minted, and as justforfun pointed out, there was on year with over 10 billion. that's 30 pennies minted for every man, woman and child in the states in just one year.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Just wondering with the more populated countries such as China and India with their penny equivalent coins what the mintages are. I checked for China but couldnt find any mintage

India has a lot a banknotes and candy that you receive for the difference ammount when they dont have coins...

Actually the use of coins in India is very low compared to USA.

In USA you will get coins at any place, in India they are scarce
