What coin just stump you to ID, and turn out to be very easy?

The coins from Pakistan used to give me trouble, I never expect coins using the Arabic alphabet to be from Pakistan. The star and crescent is sometimes a giveaway, but sometimes they don't put it on there and why can't they just be like India and put the English name on their coins too? Embarrassingly, I had to ask a forum for help with this one:

Oh yes nalaberong i to have been there more than once. Here is one that stump me for a month before i found it. Odd little coin, not very good shape. No country name,The date on both sides 1969, and for the value un centavo and 3 gramos. It turn out to be from Dominican Repubic,Km#32 (FAO)

 But thank god there is help out there and people who will take the time to help others.
edit if you look at the bander on front you can almost make out Dominica. I was stuck in south america
