BUT!!
There is a restriction! (so that this thread is not entirely trivial!)
For too long have we seen monarchs and politicians on coins - but why? Surely we can identify more with the working class?
So the real rules of this thread: post a coin in this thread featuring a human being who is not a named historical figure. Allegorical depictions of Liberty or Justice and the like are also OK to post. But no kings or queens or founding fathers or founding mothers or anything like that! No, this thread celebrates those often-underappreciated depictions of generic and fictional people.

Apparently this hard-working man from Luxembourg is an iron puddler.

From communist Poland we get this fisherman. It's rare to see an aluminum coin that actually had effort put into the design.

Two unnamed Indian flagbearers celebrating the 25th anniversary of the republic.

We see a lot of American Liberty, but here is her younger (and better-looking) sister Colombian Liberty.

I have no idea if the woman on this classic is Liberty or Italia or Justice or whatever, but it is a nice-looking coin. (So: it's OK if a coin has a monarch on it as long as the other side depicts something more relevant to the theme of this thread)
Happy posting!
